Interested in Volunteer Opportunities?

The Hawaii SHIP program is looking for volunteers.

Hawaii SHIP depends on volunteers like you to carry out its mission to provide Medicare information and assistance to our communities statewide.

Volunteers are an essential part of Hawaii SHIP as the program relies on volunteers for help, particularly during Medicare's Open Enrollment Period in the fall, when there is a high demand for Medicare information and assistance. Depending on a volunteer's background and experience, they may be able to assist with simple clerical tasks or more complex duties such as counseling or outreach. Without volunteers, the program could not function.

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) provides adults ages 55 and better with a meaningful volunteer experience in the community that offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems.

If you are interested in becoming a Hawaii SHIP volunteer, sign up with RSVP!
